Decorative Water Fountains
There are currently 13 decorative fountains located in some of our City parks and elsewhere in the City. Check the listing below for all decorative fountains. Douglas 1 decorative water fountain, Future of America - Children at Play Delano Park - 101 N. McLean Ben F. McLean Memorial decorative water fountain built 1934 lighted Douglas Street - E. Douglas 3 decorative water fountains - Business Man, Learning, Pedal Car (pictured at right) Finlay Ross Park - 123 W. Douglas (east of Water & south of Douglas) 1 decorative water fountain Heritage Square Park - 115 E. William 1 decorative water fountain (free-form rock pool) The sculpture Heritage Woman is part of the fountain. lighted Naftzger Memorial Park - 102 S. St. Francis (Douglas & St. Francis) 1 decorative water fountain Victoria Park - 1700 N. Park Place 1 decorative water fountain inoperative due to vandalism originally placed in the middle of the intersection of St. Francis and William streets in downtown Wichita in November 1910 Additional Historical Information: National Humane Alliance Website Water Wall - 400 W. Waterman 1 decorative water fountain located at Hyatt Regency Wichita Hotel lighted West Bank Fountain - (west bank of Big Arkansas River, facing A. Price Woodard Park) 1 decorative water fountain inoperative due to water and electrical service not hooked up when work was completed on McLean Blvd.
