Theft Victim Packet
Identity theft happens when a criminal gets personal information such as your Social Security number, credit card number or bank account information, and uses the information without permission for their personal benefit or gain. The theft of your information could happen in a number of ways. The most common is when thieves steal a purse or a wallet. This theft provides the thief and other criminal associates with access to your personal information, which puts your financial well being at risk.
There is a lot of advice available about how to deal with the theft of your personal information. The Wichita Police Department has put together an easy-to-follow packet of information, compiled from a number of sources, to assist you in dealing with your identity theft situation. Crime Stats Updated The Reporting Area database allows you to click on portions of a City of Wichita map, and in turn, it will provide you with crimes stats for those areas. It can be found on the Crime Statistics page. |

How to Report Accidents Online The Wichita Police Department now has an online form which can be used to report all non-injury accidents under $1000 in property damages. There must be no hit and run and/or DUI involved. This online form can be used to report accidents occurring on both public streets or private parking lots within the City of Wichita. |

Support Law Enforcement Memorial The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #5 proudly offers two car magnet ribbons which state, "Support Law Enforcement Memorial of Sedgwick County Kansas" or "Support Local Law Enforcement," and two limited edition challenge coins depicting the Law Enforcement Memorial.
The cost of the car magnet ribbons are $3.00 each and the challenge coins are $7.00 each or $13.00 a set. All profits will benefit the Law Enforcement Memorial of Sedgwick County.
