The City of Wichita and INTRUST Bank Arena have launched an online survey to get input from the public on downtown parking. Carl Walker, Inc., the parking consultant for a downtown parking and mobility plan, has compiled the survey to identify what residents want in the parking and mobility plan.

Mandy Pankratz, the City’s economic development analyst, said the survey will provide feedback that helps assist efforts to meet downtown parking needs.

“We also plan to use the results of the survey to identify various parking and mobility options such as carpooling and other alternative transportation methods that will ease traffic congestion and increase convenience for downtown and arena customers,” Pankratz said.

The survey, which will be available for an indefinite period of time to ensure people get to respond, is available at www.wichita.gov and www.sedgwickcounty.org.
