The 3rd annual Sports Spectacular for youth will take place Sunday, Sept. 27, in Evergreen Park, 2700 N. Woodland, from noon until 7 p.m.
The free event is sponsored by the Evergreen Neighborhood City Hall and the City of Wichita Park and Recreation department. Activities include football games, a tennis clinic, basketball and soccer demonstrations and boxing lessons. Informational booths will be in place to address youth needs. Younger participants will enjoy various bounce houses. Music and a talent show will be featured from 3 p.m.to 7 p.m.
Participants will also have the opportunity to sign up for other Park and Recreation Department activities.
