Celebrate the rich history of the "River City" on Wichita’s own Historic Trolley Tour. Step back in time to the days of Carrie Nation and Wyatt Earp. Take in the beauty of the winding Arkansas River to see today’s energy in Exploration Place and the ongoing river projects. The Discover Historic Wichita! guided trolley tour has something for all ages to enjoy.
The trip begins at the Wichita Boathouse and Visitors Information Center in the heart of the River District. Enjoy the scenery of Wichita and relax on a replica 19th Century American Heritage Streetcar. This fully narrated trip lasts approximately 1½ hours and travels by some of Wichita’s most distinguished historic neighborhoods and establishments.
When: Wednesday-Saturday at 10 AM, Memorial Day–Labor Day
Where: Tour begins at the Wichita Boathouse & Visitor Information Center at 335 W. Lewis Street, located off Main & Lewis.
Admission: $6 for adults; $5 for seniors and youth; children under 6 free of charge. Group rates are available!

Additional Trolley Services: The Wichita Transit offers regular Saturday downtown trolley rides. There are several different stops with the primary location being in the heart of Old Town at the Wichita Farm & Art Market.
Note: As a sponsor, the City of Wichita will be providing trolley shuttles from the parking area, to Old Town, then to the train. Picnic tables will also be provided.
